Headteacher’s Welcome

At St Nicholas, our children develop a love of learning, are well motivated, enjoy themselves and take a pride in their school.

They integrate well from all our feeder nurseries and when the time comes, are fully prepared for transition to secondary school.

We value academic and personal success. All pupils are encouraged to fulfil their potential, developing their diverse range of talents. We build a strong community, which supports all children and is sustained by the excellent partnership with parents, the local community, other schools and the church.

Our aim is to provide the highest value-added education within a Christian context, enabling the children to become well-balanced and healthy, capable of achieving their individual potential and with a love for learning.

Our talented, professional staff have high expectations and work hard to build strong partnerships with parents. Where that partnership is strong and supportive, all our pupils flourish.
