Protective Behaviours
Protective Behaviours is an essential part of our curriculum, empowering children with the knowledge, skills and vocabulary to keep themselves safe, to take care of themselves. This starts in Reception and is taught every year, building progressively on prior learning which is reinforced throughout the year. Staff receive specific training to deliver and support Protective Behaviours, which is also known as the Taking Care programme.
